The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) also provides an inmate locator, which can be used to conduct an information search on inmates booked in the Texas State prison system. All mail, excluding legal mail, money orders, court documents, bank statements, and publications, must be sent directly to the Bell County Central jail. Bibles and Qurans are permitted by mail. However, other religious material not sent directly from the religious organization, as well as hardback and oversized books and books with metal staples or spiral binders, are prohibited and will not be accepted.
