Conroe City Crime Statistics

The 2019 Texas UCR statistics show that the Conroe Police Department recorded 2,378 offenses in 2019. Larceny-theft was the most common crime with 1,657 indexed incidents, followed by burglary and auto theft with 378 and 147 cases, respectively. Other crimes consisted of two murders, 37 rapes, 42 robberies, and 115 assaults.

In comparison, the city recorded 2,416 offenses in 2018, signifying a 1.6% decrease in the total crime rate. Burglary and auto-theft increased by 31.7% and 7.3%, respectively. How to Obtain Police Reports and Arrest Records

The Conroe Police Department is responsible for maintaining accident reports, case reports, offense reports, and other records on violations and incidents within its jurisdiction. However, the Police Department may limit access to some of these documents to involved or authorized parties. Requests for clearance letters must be in person, and crash reports can be available online. However, requesters will need to provide the case number, incident date, location, party names, and other relevant details for the record search.
