The Arlington police department (together with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)) provides and publishes monthly Incident-Based Reports (IBR). Data published in 2019 shows a total of 13,194 crimes committed in Arlington. Larceny-theft was the most common crime with 719 cases reported monthly and a total of 8622 in 2019.
