How to Obtain Lewisville Police Reports and Arrest Records

Interested persons may request copies of police reports and arrest records from the Lewisville Police Department. Residents may obtain copies online or visit the LPD. Non-confidential portions of Lewisville police crime reports are available to all requestors for free if the report is a maximum of 30 pages. The Denton County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) provides access to countywide jail records through the county's records inquiry search. How Do I Visit an Inmate in Lewisville Jail?

Intending visitors must register with the Denton County Sheriff's Office's third-party vendor. All visits to the Denton County Jail are by video, and may be conducted on site or remotely. Remote visits may only be initiated by the inmate. At the time of the scheduled visit, the inmate can see that the visitor is online and may initiate the call as desired.

An inmate may receive up to two free on-site visits each week if the inmate is not in disciplinary housing. On-site visits should be scheduled 24 hours in advance. The Denton County Clerk maintains records of all marriages in the county and issues copies to members of the general public. Lewisville death records are requestable from the Denton County Clerk. Death records are not public records. The Denton County Clerk only entertains requests from the following persons:
