Foard County is located in the state of Texas. The county originated in 1891. In 2020, a census showed that 1,095 inhabitants were living in the county.
It’s county seat is Crowell, which is also the county’s only incorporated community. The county is named for Robert Levi Foard, an attorney who served as a major with the Confederate Army, in the American Civil War.
